Zelda the Wind Waker - Locations of Heart Pieces




In Zelda - The Wind Waker, like almost every Zelda game, pieces of heart have been placed in special locations. These heart pieces provide Link with more health when he collects four of them. All of the heart piece locations in Zelda - The Wind Waker are listed below.

Heart Piece 1 - In the Forsaken Fortress, a switch lies near the jail cell behind some barrels. Activate the switch to reveal a treasure chest containing the first piece of heart.
Heart Piece 2 - On Star Island, there is a large rock you can destroy with a bomb. Enter the hole beneath it and defeat all the enemies to claim the second heart container.
Heart Piece 3 - After acquiring a treasure map from Dragon Roost cavern, it will appear on the water on Crescent Moon Island.
Heart Piece 4 - Defeat the Big Octo near Seven-Star Isles to make a chest appear. Use the grappling hook to recover it from the water and claim the heart piece inside.
Heart Piece 5 - Win the cannon minigame on Spectacle Island.
Heart Piece 6 - Find all the kids in the Hide & Seek game on Windfall Island to earn this heart piece.
Heart Piece 7 - Win the Battleship game on Windfall Island. A heart container is the prize.
Heart Piece 8 - Speak to the woman in the orange dress on Windfall Island. Then go find the blond-haired man wearing a brown hat and green vest who wanders around the island and speak to him. Return to the woman in orange and take her picture with the Deluxe Picto Box, then go show it to the man. It won't work if you used the regular Picto Box. After two days, go speak to them at the bar to get a heart container.
Heart Piece 9 - You can win this heart container in the auction on Windfall Island.
Heart Piece 10 - Complete the flower trading sequence to collect this heart container.
Heart Piece 11 - After rescuing the girls at the Forsaken Fortress, talk to the young girl in the fancy house on Windfall Island. Deliver her letter to the postbox near the entrance to town. Return to the house to see a fight between the girl's father and the postman. Find the postman at the bar and deliver his letter to the girl to receive a piece of heart.
Heart Piece 12 - Light the lighthouse on Windfall Island with fire arrows, then speak to the man in the windmill.
Heart Piece 13 - Use the Deku Leaf to float to a small island off the coast of Windfall Island near the bomb shop. Open the chest there to get the heart container.
Heart Piece 14 - Place an item such as a Town Flower on all 14 brown pedestals on Windfall Island, then speak to the man sitting on the bench to get the piece of heart.
Heart Piece 15 - Crawl into a small dome on Pawprint Isle to find a chest containing a heart piece.
Heart Piece 16 - After finding the treasure map in the Tower of the Gods, return to Pawprint Isle to find it.
Heart Piece 17 - Get 25 points in the mail sorting game on Dragon Roost Island, then deliver his letter. After a couple of days, the heart container will be sent to you.
Heart Piece 18 - Bring 20 golden feathers to the guard on the second floor of Dragon Roost Island, then wait for a heart piece to be delivered in the mail.
Heart Piece 19 - Make the wind blow northwest from the flight control platform and use the Deku Leaf to reach a banner at the end of the course.
Heart Piece 20 - Go to the Beedle shop on Rock Spire Island and buy the heart piece for 950 rupees.
Heart Piece 21 - Destroy the boats at Rock Spire Island and use the grapplig hook to recover a heart piece from one of them.
Heart Piece 22 - After buying the treasure map from the auction house, the heart piece can be found on the waters of Rock Spire Island.
Heart Piece 23 - Kill the Big Octo near Tingle Island and fish the piece of heart out of the water.
Heart Piece 24 - After winning the treasure map at the auction house, the heart container will appear near Three-Eye Reef.
Heart Piece 25 - Find the withered tree on Greatfish Isle, then use the Deku leaf to reach the heart container on a nearby landmass.
Heart Piece 26 - Go inside the submarine near Six-Eye Reef and kill all the enemies, then collect the piece of heart.
Heart Piece 27 - A treasure map found in the Wind Temple will lead you to a heart piece at Thorned Fairy Island.
Heart Piece 28 - On Needle Rock Island, there is a treasure chest surrounded by fire. Use a Hyoi Pear to take control of a seagull and use it to hit a switch on a large rock. This will allow you to reach the heart container.
Heart Piece 29 - Destroy all the cannons on the platform near Stone Watcher Island, then get the heart piece from the top.
Heart Piece 30 - Blow up the rock at the top of Bomb Island, then drop into the hole. Use the Magtails to activate all the switches and reach the heart container at the end.
Heart Piece 31 - A treasure map found in the Earth Temple makes this heart piece on Bomb Island visible.
Heart Piece 32 - Play the game in the windmill on Windfall Island to find a treasure map that reveals a heart container on Diamond Steppe Island.
Heart Piece 33 - Buy the treasure map at the Beedle shop on Rock Spire Island, then go to Southern Fairly Island to find the piece of heart.
Heart Piece 34 - Received in the mail after beating the Forbidden Woods dungeon.
Heart Piece 35 - Speak to a Korok standing next to a withered tree, then go to the Forest Haven and speak to the Deku Tree. Pour forest water on all the trees marked on your map within 20 minutes to earn the heart piece.
Heart Piece 36 - A Treasure Map found in the Tower of the Gods will lead you to a heart piece in the Forest Haven.
Heart Piece 37 - Fight your way down a series of 50 holes on Outset Island to find this heart piece.
Heart Piece 38 - On Outset Island, pick up the black pig and carry it to the black patches of dirt. Put bait on the ground to make it dig for a piece of heart.
Heart Piece 39 - On Outset Island, hit Orca with your sword 500 times without getting hit more than three times to win a heart piece.
Heart Piece 40 - Use a Hyoi Pear to take control of a seagull and fly it up to the top of Headstone Island to collect the heaart container.
Heart Piece 41 - Make your way to the top of the blocks on Angular Island to find the heart piece.
Heart Piece 42 - Find the Treasure Map in the Forbidden Woods to reveal a chest with a heart piece on Angular Island.
Heart Piece 43 - Enter the submarine near Five-Star Isles and kill all the enemies inside to collect a piece of heart.
Heart Piece 44 - Take a picture of the woman in the orange dress standing near the entrance to town to receive a treasure map, then go to Five-Star Isles to find the heart container.
