Giant Chuchu Boss Guide

The Giant ChuChu has the appearance of a normal ChuChu. However, like his name explains, he is a bigger version of the regular ChuChu. In order to exterminate this boss, utilize the Gust Jar on his base and stay out of the way by dodging when he elevates (or jumps). Over time, his base will whittle away and the giant boss will loose balance and collapse on the ground. Now, strike him rapidly in the head with the help of your sword. Continue attacking or run the procedure from the beginning again if he stands up until he is defeated!

Gleerok Boss Guide

Gleerok is of course another one of the bosses in Minish Cap. In order to defeat him, blast the Can of Pacci at his shell. By doing this, it will stun Gleerok make him vulnerable to attack in weak parts of his body. Now, move across to Gleerok's neck and strike at the weak points with your sword. Like other bosses, they will try to fight back. In any case, Gleerok will try and move. Once this happens, proceed back to the ground without the lava. Repeat the procedure until Gleerok is terminated. Please note, this boss will drop rocks and boulders, watch out for them because they could damage you significantly.

Mazaal Boss Guide

The Minish Cap Mazaal is a very similar character as the Bongo Bongo in Zelda Ocarina of Time. Now let's get to the point. In order to defeat this boss, using your bow to aim for the circles in Mazaal's hands. If you have a successful hit, Mazaal's hand will collapse onto the ground. Now, you are allowed to damage the hand with your sword. Repeat the same process on the other hand. When both hands are stunned and damaged, utilize one of the portals available to minimize yourself to minish size. Finally, approach to the interior of Mazaal's head and look for the beaming pillar. Once you spot the pillar, destroy it as quick as possible. After this process, repeat the complete procedure that was just stated until Mazaal is completely exterminated.

Giant Octorok Boss Guide

Giant Octorok is a boss with a large body size. During the battle, he will begin shooting rocks at you. Deflect his attacks back to him using your shield. By the third deflection, you will realize that the area is covered with ice. Now utilize the Flame Lantern to burn the his tail. Hilariously, Giant Octorok's tail will catch fire, in which he will run in all directions in the effort to blow out the fire. Unfortunately, his vast body size knocks boulders down. Avoid the boulders as they fall to avoid getting hurt. Continue and repeat the procedure until Giant Octorok falls. Once this boss is defeated, the room will become pitch black. Thus, turn on your lantern to light up the room.

Gyrogs Boss Guide

The Gyrogs are not only one boss but also a second boss. As a good recommendation, start off with on the back of the blue Gyrog. Once you're on the back, you will realize that the red Gyrog will fly pass by. Jump on the red Gyrog's back and it will open three of his 8 eyes. Utilize the glowing panels in order to multiply itself in the same pattern of the eyes. Now, attack all of them at the same time. Sooner or later, the red Gyrog should explode.
Now, hop back onto the blue Gyrog. By now, the blue one should have an eye on each corner of the Gyrog's body. Strike on the eye that opens with all your might. Please note, its tail will swing around to hurt you. Thus, avoid it by jumping over it. Eventually, the blue Gyrog will get tired and you will be taken back to the Red Gyrog. Repeat the procedure above until both Gyrogs are defeated.

Vaati Boss Guide

Surprising as it may be, the Vaati boss has the ability to transform into three distinct forms. Vaati's first form resembles the appearance of a sorcerer because of the eyeballs that orbits around him. First off, strike and destroy the eyeballs with your sword. By doing so, Vaati's weak points will be revealed, in which provides the perfect oppurtunity for you to attack. However, watch out when his eyes come to rest because Vaati's eyes has the ability to shoot lasers. In any case, dodge his attacks. By the time Vaati's first form appears to be defeated, the eyeballs will be covered in darkness. To counter this, utilize your Gust Jar to take a way the darkness. Finally, attack them. After this, Vaati will make his transformation.


Vaati's second form is much larger than the first. He now resembles an huge ball-like creature with eight eyeballs orbitting him. Launch arrows at the eyesballs quickly. However, only four of the eight eyeballs will open at once. In any case, utilize the glowing panels on the floor to set up the formation that allows you to strike at all four of the eyeballs at once. Continue to strike or attack them by utilizing your sword until they appear to be stunned or collapsed. Once this happens, strike at the biggest eye that is located at the center point of Vaati. Now Vaati will launch electric projectiles and cover the ground with spikes. Continue and repeat the procedure above and Vaati should make his third transformation soon.



Vaati's final form is no other than his most powerful and most fearful transformation. In any case, avoid his claws and all attacks that the claws release including electric shocks. Eventually, one of Vaati's arms should come up from the deep ground. Strike the arm with your Cane of Pacci, then utilize the Minish portals to minimize yourself and proceed into the tiny opening located at the base of this unique arm. Finally, proceed to the eye with the red pupil and attack it from the inside. Repeat the procedure above until the other arm is eliminated or exterminated. Please be aware that once you're minimized, you will realize that it becomes pitch black inside the arm. To compensate this problem, utilize your Flame Lantern.

When you successfully destroyed both of Vaati's arms, make use of the glowing tiles on the floor in order to create three clones. Once created, you will encounter electric attacks from the remaining four eyes located on the front side of Vaati. Make sure you reflect the electric projectiles back to Vaati's eyes. Finally, strike at the big eye in the middle of the boss until Vaati is defeated.
